Buckingham Palace is pleased to announce that the Coronation of His Majesty The King will take place on Saturday 6th May

The Coronation Ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey, London, and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

What to expect?

Road Closures – The roads and parks around central London will be affected by significant road closures and parking suspensions on the 5 and 6 May.

As well as this you made find that roads in your local area may be shut off if people are having street parties, which means some roads may be completely inaccessible. You can find out which roads will be shut by checking with your local council.
